WATCH SERVICING

The first part of the meticulous service process ensures that each timepiece is carefully examined to assess its overall condition and identify any specific issues. 

Using advanced diagnostic tools and my expert knowledge, I check for signs of wear, movement accuracy and the condition of all components. This thorough inspection ensures that every watch receives the care it really needs, setting the stage for a flawless service or restoration process.

Following the inspection, the second stage of the watch servicing process involves carefully dismantling the timepiece into its individual components. 

I meticulously disassemble the watch, ensuring that each part is handled with the utmost care. Once separated, each part is checked for damage (replaced where required) and then undergoes a thorough cleaning process using specialized solutions and ultrasonic technology to remove any dirt, oils, and impurities. This detailed cleaning process ensures that every part is pristine and ready for precise reassembly, contributing to the optimal performance and longevity of your timepiece

The third stage of the watch servicing process involves the careful reassembly and precise oiling of your timepiece. 

After thorough cleaning, I reassemble the watch, ensuring each component is perfectly aligned and securely fitted. During this process, I rigorously check the tolerances and workings of each part to guarantee optimal performance. High-quality modern synthetic lubricants are applied to critical points within the movement to minimize friction and wear. This precise oiling, combined with the detailed inspection of each component's function, ensures that your watch operates smoothly, accurately, and reliably for years to come.

The fourth and final stage of the comprehensive watch servicing process is dedicated to regulating the watch for precision and performing final re-casing and quality checks. 

Once reassembled and oiled, I meticulously regulate the movement to ensure the highest level of accuracy possible. This involves fine-tuning and adjusting the timing to meet exacting standards. After achieving optimal performance, the watch is carefully re-cased, ensuring all seals are intact for water resistance*. Finally, I conduct a series of rigorous quality checks to confirm the watch meets my strict criteria for accuracy, functionality, and overall condition. This thorough process guarantees your timepiece returns to you in the best possible working order.

*some vintage watches are never completely water resistant due to  age, wear and tightness of case backs, crowns etc
